Rohit Sardana – A tearful tribute to a Journalist

One of the best Journalist Rohit Sardana, presently working with “AajTak” left us today. He was COVID19 positive and he died after a heart attack. We all are very sad and remembering him as “Rohit Sardana – A tearful tribute to a Journalist

He was very clear spoken and specific. He worked with multiple media channels like Zee News, AIR, and Aaj Tak etc.

Sardana was honoured with “Ganesh Vidyarthi Puraskar Award” in 2018.

Little About Rohit Sardana

He was born on 22 Sep 1979 in Kurukshetra, Haryana. He was an MA in Mass Communications.

Rohit Sardana’s school name is “Gita Niketan Awasiya Vidyalaya” Kurukshetra and college “Guru Jambeshwar University of Science & Technology”

His wife’s name is Niti Choudhary and survived with two lovely daughters.

He is survived by a brother too, who is Computer Science Engineer.

He was very much interested to become an actor and in 1997 he also did some theatres.

Rohit wanted to be on television screen and he did that.

He earned his bachlor’s degree in arts and his maters in Mass Communications.

After completion of graduation, Rohit get admission in National School of Drama, but very soon he left out NSD.

He also wrote some articles for newspapers and magazines and brush up his knowledge about Journalism.

On his last birthday, Vipin Swami wrote on twitter “तू जल्दी मरजा सरदाना। देश का कल्याण हो जाएगा।”

In reply Sardana said, “भाई हम तो मरके भी कल्याण कर लेंगें देश का मगर आप तो जीते जी क़तर निकल लिए पैसे कमाने।”

This shows how he was passionate about the country.

Today we all are remembering him for his good work done by him.

He hosted a well known programme “Tak Thonk Ke” aired on Zee News.

He joined Aaj Tak in 2017 after leaving Zee News.

Rohit Sardana worked as trainee copy editor from 2002 to 2003.

He was exposed to all verticals of successful anchoring while his carrier.

Rohit Sardana was with Zee News from 2004 to 2017 before joining Aaj Tak.

This is the small introduction about Rohit Sardana.
